**as seen on IH8MUD.com** This is used to test the EGR Temp Sensor on the 1FZFE OBDII Engine. This plug will insure the engine's computer receives the correct value to prevent a trouble code from being thrown. This can temporarily disable the EGR system, allowing full testing.

This kit is a critical part to diagnosing CEL P0401 and P0402 problems commonly found in 80 Series Land Cruisers.

Bought one… dropped it in the engine bay, couldn’t find it but the P401 never came back, bought a second for a different rig and by chance dropped that one in an engine bay too and darn it… that ones P401 went away too. Even though I lost mine when the fell into the engine bay, they’re very worth the price. 10/10 would buy again.

I have 2 80 series and has worked for years in my old. I expect the same with the recently purchased lx450.

Great product, I wish I had learned of it sooner. The annoying check engine light is gone. Only install issue was removing old temp sensor electrical connection.
