This upgraded battery cable kit replaces the following cables on your 93-97 80 Series Land Cruiser. This is the best replacement for your old and corroded cables.
- Starting battery to starter positive cable - built from 2awg marine tinned cable with PET protective coating and adhesive backed heat shrink tubing.
- Starting battery to block ground cable - built from 2awg marine tinned cable with PET protective coating and adhesive backed heat shrink tubing. Includes a 90 degree terminal lug for the block connection just like the OEM cable.
- Starting battery to fender ground cable - built from 6awg marine tinned cable with PET protective coating and adhesive backed heat shrink tubing.
- Firewall to block ground cable - built from 6awg marine tinned cable with adhesive backed heat shrink tubing and fiberglass heat shielding.
**Terminal lugs are fitted for each connection location, just like OEM, they only go on one way.**
Think about installing a new fusible link as well, or just throw one in the glove box for extra insurance - Fusible Link

Install Directions -
2AWG Positive 5/16" end goes to starter
2AWG Positive 3/8" end goes to battery terminal
2AWG Negative 3/8" 90* end goes to block
2AWG Negative 3/8" end goes to battery terminal
- We recommend following factory wire routing -
6AWG battery to fender ground - 1/4" end to fender, 3/8" end to battery terminal
6AWG block to firewall ground follow factory route

Really glad that I went with these cables over some competitors. These are well built and I was able to duplicate the original battery wire routing using the OEM neoprene abrasion sleeves for a more stock look. Would highly recommend.

These things are stout, well constructed and fit just right. David was great on communication and got everything promptly shipped out. I was pricing out what it would cost to make my own and these came out to right about that cost, making it a no brainer to purchase and support a vendor of the hobby.

Cable set is fairly substantial, the correct length, and the correct number of cables. I did lose a terminal lug on the short ground cable and discovered that these are crimped on and not soldered. The other cables seem to be holding up fine. I was able to re-crimp the end that came off and it is functioning normally. Would love to see this cable set with soldered connectors. ----------------------------------------------------------Thanks for the feedback. Toyota crimps all the wiring in the Land Cruiser and the OE cables are crimped as well. It's interesting that one of our came undone as we crimp and stress test each connection. Good cables, with heat and abrasion protection. Negative is that while I figured out the installation on my own, it would have been reassuring that I’m doing it correctly if I had instructions. Recommend at least some basic instructions along with the cables.
