Product Overview
This allows you to mount a Yaesu FTM-400XDR or FTM-400XD control head to a Ram Mount. It provides a 1" ball along with the appropriate hardware to adapt the ball to the back of the display head.
Those you familiar with this unit know its not the standard ball mount thread on the back of the unit and the mount that comes in the box is really flimsy. I also don't like how the X-grip mounts work with this head. There are other mounts out there, but none as secure and clean as using a Ram Mount system.

This is the only product out there if you want to mount your Yaesu faceplate to a Ram Mount (trust me, I looked!) Worked perfectly and looks great!

RAM Mounts are the best most customizable way to mount radios in modern vehicles. The 1" rubber ball makes this a modular approach. The is nothing more than a small aluminum bar and a 1" ball that threads into the back of the FTM-400 control panel. I installed mine on a FTM-300DR and it fits perfectly and is very solid. Worth.. every... penny.

Great product, worked perfectly as advertised. The OE suction cup that came with the radio is garbage. This was absolutely what I needed!

Used this to mount my Yaesu FTM400xdr in my vehicle. Very solid, works perfectly. Would recommend if using a Ram mount system.
